About Caregos Couture Jewellery

Caregos Cyf. was established in Wales in 2004 and our work has been exhibited at several art galleries in Wales, including the La Mostra Art Gallery, Cardiff Bay (two separate exhibitions), Kooywood Art Gallery, Cardiff (three separate exhibitions) and the Model House, Llantrisant (which hosted exhibitions of our work for over four years, until their closure in December 2009). Previous collections have also been shown in jewellers Kingswood Jewellery (Cowbridge & Llantwit Major) and TS2 Jewellery Studio, Cardiff together with a host of bridal boutiques including Jayne Hampson, Penarth and Little White Dress, Cardiff.

We have also sold previous collections in boutiques including Izimanga, St. Brides Major and Chiesa, Cardiff (the fashion boutique owned by Maria Church (mum of Charlotte) which hosted our Autumn/Winter launch party 2007. We've since designed pieces for a range of celebrities such as Charlotte & Maria Church.

We were also recently asked to take part in an article entitled, 'Welsh Followers of Fashion' for the South Wales Echo, which was printed in the Echo on 19.06.2008 (the article can be accessed by this link):

Photographs of pieces designed by Caregos Couture have also appeared in other articles in the Western Mail on the BAFTA Cymru Awards 2008, with pieces worn by Siān Lloyd, Reveal Magazine (who covered our Autumn/Winter 2007 exhibition held at the Chiesa boutique owned by Maria Church, featuring photographs of pieces worn by both Maria & Charlotte Church), and we have featured in WM Wedding Magazine and Getting Married magazine, to name but a few.

In addtion, photographs of celebrity clients wearing our pieces have been used  on the following websites:  dailypost.co.uk, hello.co.uk, celebritycrust.co.uk, wales.on.line.co.uk, bbc.wales.co.uk, fragrancefoundation.org.uk, bafta-cymru.org.uk, redcross.org.co.uk, absolutely.net, myvillage.com, contactmusic.com, brandrepublic.com, www.sloleht.ee (international website) telegraph.co.uk (twice) and msn.entertainment news.

Caregos Couture jewellery could be seen on permanent exhibition at the Model House, Llantrisant (Arts Council of Wales), until its closure in December 2009 - a result of funding cuts. The Model House exhibited art/craft work from world-wide designers recognised in their particular fields, whether it be textiles, glass, wood-work or jewellery design. Our exhibition there was in its fifth year. Pieces are also available for purchase at RMA Jewellers, Porthcawl and on-line through our on-line store.

Each piece shown here is unique and is both designed and handmade in Llantrisant, south Wales.

Our designs are bold and distinctive, which we feel reflects our client base - sexy, sophisticated and confident in their sense of style, not wishing to follow preconceived notions of what is fashionable.

We hope you enjoy our website.
